Delete Your Account

You can delete your DocuStash account and all associated data at any time, directly from the app. No email or request to us is needed.

How to delete your account

Open the DocuStash app.
Go to Settings.
Tap “Close Account”.
Follow the confirmation prompts.

What gets deleted

All your items and reminders
All document files
Encryption keys
Audit logs
Your account credentials

This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Some information may stay briefly in encrypted backups before those roll over, and we may keep the minimum required by law (for example, basic records for tax), but nothing longer than we have to.
